How the RM700,000 Mega Contest works
1. This Contest is presented in conjunction with various product offers and opens on 1 December 2006 and closes at midnight on 31 December 2007. Entry is by invitation only, and is open to residents of Malaysia of legal age. No purchase is necessary to enter. Approval, permission or licenses, where necessary, have been obtained from the appropriate authorities.
2. To send for your entry form for this contest, your invitations must be returned to Reader’s Digest in accordance with the instructions and conditions described in the accompanying promotional material. The completed entry form must be received by Reader's Digest by midnight on 31 December 2007. Employees of Reader's Digest and its agencies, and their immediate families up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity, are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
3. If more than one contest invitations are received, you may enter more than once. Each entry has a fair and equal opportunity to win. All entries must be completed in ink on the official contest entry form. Illegible entries will be disqualified. Receipt of entries by Reader’s Digest will not be acknowledged and Reader's Digest will accept no responsibility for entries which may for any reason whatsoever become lost or damaged, or delayed in transit.
4. All entries will be examined by an impartial panel of judges. Winners will be judged based on the correct answers. The judges' decision on all matters connected with this Contest will be final and no correspondence will be entertained. The final judging will be held in the presence of an independent auditor.
5. All winners will be notified in writing and the winners of cash prizes will be announced on 22 January 2008 in The Star and Sin Chew Jit Poh. A full list of winners will be available upon written request after 22 January 2008. Please send the request together with a self-addressed envelope to the Contest Department, Reader's Digest, P.O. Box 10808, 50726 Kuala Lumpur. Or you can log on to www.rdasia.com.my for the list of winners.
6. Cash prizes may be represented from time to time as multiple payment options, cars, travel or merchandise. Prize preferences indicated by participants at time of entry simply highlight options available and are not binding; actual choices will be confirmed with winners after winners notification. The Pegasus Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Any prizes which remain unclaimed for two months after the announcement of the winners shall be forfeited and donated to charitable organizations.
7. Reader's Digest reserves the right to publish the photographs and/or names of all or any prize winners in promotional materials and advertisements as it sees fit.

yeah.. i get it just now! and the document entitled'NOTIFICATION OF DISTRIBUTION'(delivered to the selected resident in Malaysia)delivered on 12/07/2010..(011106235) and i just recieved it a few hours ago..wtf... is it really a fake? my brother in law also get the same document with a replica of key (car) a few years ago.. but the reader's digest said we have to return the key to them immediately with less than 3 days times if we want to win the grand prize!! it sounds good right? but it just a fake! but if its not disturbing you too much just ignore the document! i don't ever subscribes the reader's digest even once. so, how can i be selected to win their prize?? huhhh... its wierd hahh!

Aku pun baru di maklumkan surat kuning tu baru sampai semalam so belum bukak lagi, dengar kata kita kena bayar rm 148 untuk sambung contest so ada cadangan samaada patut di teruskan atau buat tak tau ajer??
Satu hal yg pelik dgn contest RD ni, kena tulis dlm surat "With RM200,00 at stake and only 72 hours to go, please make the right decision". Masa ini t'lalu singkat terutamanya bg mereka yg tinggal di Sarawak / Sabah. Lagi klu mereka yg tgl di kwsn pedalaman. Mungkin ini merupakan taktik psikologi mereka supaya org2 yg menjadi mangsa cpt2 untuk mengambil keputusan reply "YES" dlm surat yg mereka hantar. Satu hal lg, saya sendiri terima surat daripada RD, agak lama saya mencari tarikh p'hantaran (sebagai rujukan) tp tidak ketemu walaupun sy baca helaian demi helaian. Sedangkan tempoh utk balas surat dlm masa 72 jam. Myb, contest seperti ini mmg tdk valid & memang salah satu penipuan halus yg perlu dielakkan.
I don't know about your opinion..I pun ade dpt reader's digest punye letter since Jan'10...and I follow je instruction dia sampai 31st Dec'10. I did purchase some of the products. From my experience..dia suruh kt beli produk dia..kalo x beli pun it's ok..cuba u all baca balik letter yg reader's digest sent in to you all..and statement dia bukan "u are the winner" hanye "potential winner" that's mean u all blom jd winner..hanya berpotensi..lg byk u purchase produk dia lg berpotensi la sbb (maybe or maybe not) sbb dia akan post contest form byk2 kan..u all kalo reply sume contest form tu dia akan check sume form dgn jawapan yg betul shj.Then dikumpulkan sume form with correct answer..pastue dia cabut mcm lucky draw..sape yg kena mmg luck dia la..and sape yg x kena xde luck la..bkn rezeki dia la..U all x beli produk dia pn xpe...tp still bole masuk contest dia..if beli produk dia pun x rugi psl tue sume ilmu..I beli byk juga produk reader's digest nie ..a lots of books..for my children..so u all think about it la..psl yg duk pedalaman tue..reader's digest won't send letters kat org yg duk pedalaman.Reader's Digest pun pandai select customers dia....Ok la..up to u la whether nk join or not sbb masing2 ade pendirian masing2..I personally join the contest for 2010 but didn't won guess maybe it's not my rezeki..ok.good luck to you all.

hey guys, i also receive such letter today n immediately i call up Eon Bank coz d letter was posted 2me with Eon Bank envelope..N d customer service officer admitted that Eon Bank have such partnership contest wit RD..N inside d letter, it was exactly d same contents of u guys receive..rm220k prizes & car & additional prizes of money..bla bla bla..N so i decided to search frm d google n see whether i'm d only person who receive such letter..coz RD said (in d letter) tat i'm d ONLY person frm Malaysia who were being CHOOSE 2b in tis final stage of contest..n i begin 2think where got so lucky one coz i din subscribe RD b4 n previously (12 yrs ago in 1999) i also received such letter frm RD..N thanks God tat i found tis forum n had saved me frm tis RD tatics!!
