1. Contest begins on March 23, 2007 and ends 6pm Hong Kong time April 21, 2007. Late entries will not be entertained.
2. Contest is open to all residents, aged 18 and above, of China, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Korea, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand only. Winner(s) must have valid passport and all necessary visa and travel documents to enter Hong Kong between 1 – 4 May 2007.
3. Only official entries downloaded/sent via CNET Networks Asia Pacific participating websites will be accepted. Organizers are not responsible for entries not received due to lost, failed, delayed, mutilated, illegible, incomplete or misdirected mail, electronic or otherwise. Organizers not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by persons entered at the website or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this promotion. All submissions become property of the organizers and will not be returned.
4. On 23 April 2007, a winner will be selected by a panel of judges formed by the organizers. The winner will be notified by phone or email within 3 working days and acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use the winner’s name and/or likeness on the website for advertising/trade purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited. Winner must complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release upon acceptance of prize, or prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
5. The winner shall receive a 3 day/2 night package for 2, including air ticket and accommodation only, to Hong Kong from the country of residence to attend Avril Lavigne’s showcase. All other expenses except for air ticket and accommodation shall be at the winner’s and partner’s own expense. Organizers shall not be responsible for expenses including but not limited to transport to and from airport/hotel, food and travel to and from showcase venue.
6. The Prize(s) shall not be transferable / redeemable for cash.
7. Prizes must be accepted as they are and no negotiations will be allowed.
8. Entrants agree to be bound by these rules. By entering, participants release and hold harmless CNET Networks Asia Pacific and Sony BMG Music Enertainment and its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, prize suppliers, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest or acceptance or use of the prize.
9. Decision made by organizers is final and no correspondences will be entertained. Organizers reserve the right to replace the prize as they deem fit in the event the original prize is unavailable.
