Description
The main intention of the contest is to acquaint students with the new technology of 3D scanning and 3D printing. They are being presented with an offer to express their own creativity and knowledge through making CAD models.

This year the main topic is scanning and/or modelling works of Art and Architecture in CAD software.

The contest is divided in two categories:
1. Making of an authorial artistic composition in a 3D program with a 3D scanned element
Authorial product has to contain a 3D scanned element, which must be involved (included) with the project. Producers of scanners or bidders of services over different states are available for consulting and to offer technical help. The task is complete when the model is prepared for implementation (solid model); model needs to be made adequately, so it can be printed on a 3D printer.

2. Making a copy of an existing architectural building or some other 3D work of art
Students design a copy in any 3D program. They can utilize any available technology (3D scanning, photogrammetry).
