Terms & conditions:
1. The AirAsia MasterCard Spend and Win Contest (the “Contest”) is from 1 April 2007 to December 2007 (“Contest Period”).
2. All MasterCard branded cardholders who purchase AirAsia flights within Malaysia during the Contest Period (the “Purchases”) and charge their Purchases to their MasterCard branded cards will automatically qualify to enter the Contest, the mechanics of which are as follows:-
• There will be one winner for each month of the Contest Period.
• At the end of each month during the Contest Period, 1 cardholder will be selected randomly from all MasterCard branded card cardholders who charged their Purchases to their MasterCard branded cards during that month.
• The selected cardholder will be contacted via phone and given a question to answer. Upon giving the correct answer, said cardholder will be the month’s winner. If said cardholder is unable to answer the question then the process is repeated until there is a winner.
• The winner will receive 2 return flights for travel from any point of departure within Malaysia to a destination serviced by AirAsia subject to availability.
3. Entries for the monthly prize of the Contest will close at 12 midnight on the last day of each month of the Contest Period.
4. Participants are required to provide supporting documentation for the winning charge slip including but not limited to the payment card statement reflecting the winning transaction.
5. Provision of prizes:-
• AirAsia does not guarantee that the flights will be available for use on the date of winner’s choice and thereby reserves the right to change the date to a date as shall be mutually agreed between the winner and AirAsia.
• All prizes under the Contest are to be redeemed and collected in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Winners are responsible for all shipping/transportation costs.
• Where applicable, the winners of the Contest will be responsible for all duties, taxes and insurance associated with the prizes. All prizes will be given without provision for duties, taxes or insurance.
6. All winners shall be deemed to have read and accepted the Terms & Conditions of AirAsia’s complimentary voucher and AirAsia’s Terms & Conditions of Carriage (for full details, click here)
7. The Contest is open to all Malaysians and Malaysia’s Permanent Residents with the exception of the following:
• Permanent and/or temporary staff or employees of MasterCard (including subsidiaries and related companies) and their immediate family members.
